There're two types of payment methods: online and offline.
Online payment presumes that your customers pay instantly during placing an order, with their bank cards or payment accounts. The payment process is ensured by trusted payment providers such as PayPal, Stripe, Boleto, etc.
Offline payment implies that customers pay after they have placed orders on your site.
Inita supports both.
Online payment via Stripe
To allow your customers pay online while they're scheduling an appointment with you, you should connect Stripe to your Inita site:
- in your Inita dashboard, navigate to Payment methods page,
- click Connect next to Stripe. You'll be redirected to Stripe website,
- sign in, if you have a Stripe account. Or, if you're not registered, choose to create an account,
- you may be prompted to submit personal and business information required by Stripe to enable receiving payments.
When your customers are booking a service, after selecting date and time they will be offered to pay with their bank cards.
We're planning to expand our list of payment providers. If you'd like us to include your preferred provider, please reach out to our support team and let us know about your preference.
Offline payment methods refer to traditional ways of conducting transactions without the need for internet access or electronic processing at the time of the payment. These methods are crucial in offering flexibility and convenience to customers who prefer not to use online payment options.
If your Inita site isn't connected to Stripe, the service booking will include the steps to submit name and email and choose preferred date and time. On receiving an appointment notification, you will need to get in touch with the customer an agree on the preferred payment option: bank transfer, cash on delivery, peer to peer money transfer - any way that would be most suitable for both sides.
You could offer your customers to pay online invoices (payment links). These links can be created within your account with a payment provider, assuming you use one, such as PayPal or Stripe. Many payment service providers include the feature to generate payment links. To learn how to create these links, you can reach out to your payment provider.
If you have such an invoice link you could either insert it in the description of your services, or send it out in the followups after customer books a service.
